I graduated from Natick High School in 2017. While there I earned 3 technical certifications: A+ Certification, ACMT Certification, and Adobe Web Authoring Using Dreamweaver. The first two are for the troubleshooting and repair of PCs and Macs respectively, the third one is fairly self-explanatory.
For all four years of high school I was on my school’s robotics team and served as the technical leader for my team. The technical leader is responsible for the design, prototyping, and assembly of the robot. My team competed in the state championship two of the three years I was technical leader. My senior year, one our sister teams competed at the world championship.
I’m from a small town about 30 minutes outside of Boston, MA. I only have 1 sibling, a sister who is two years older than me. Other than the two of us, its my mom and dad. I know; pretty basic. I have only had one pet: a beta fish named SB (short for strawberry). Don’t ask me why I named him that, I was 8 at the time. It was a terribly sad occasion when he died; we had a funeral and buried him in the backyard with his favorite fake plant in a cookie tin. His grave site has since been obscured by many years of bark mulch which has been laid atop his grave. It’s ok; I’m not salty about it at all.
I suppose I should conclude how I ended up walking onto this team. I became interested in rowing after reading Boys in the Boat as a summer reading book going into my junior year of high school. I knew after that I was going to row in college.
